We review our salaries every year, to make sure they're always fair and competitive within the industry.
We all need a holiday sometimes, and with a minimum of 22 days paid leave for our team members and 25 days for managers (rising up to 30 days depending on how long you stay with us) you’ll always be able to take a break when you need to. Managers can also ‘buy’ up to five extra days a year, just in case life throws up any surprises.
There’s nothing more important than your health. If you need to take some time off sick, we’ll keep paying your full salary for up to 3 months - so you can focus on getting better.
It’s important to us that we support everyone here, both inside and outside of work. That’s why we offer programmes of counselling sessions and wellbeing training, as well as toolkits that you can use to help maintain a healthy work/life balance.
If you sign up to our workplace pension, you’ll get life assurance cover of up to 10x your salary. Otherwise, you also have the option of adding life assurance through our flexible rewards scheme.
Safety is our top priority at Openreach, without exception. Our WorkSafe, HomeSafe programme makes sure that everyone gets the right training for their role. Just to be on the extra safe side, we also run refresher courses at least once a year.

Our healthcare scheme is administered by AXA and allows you to choose your plan - all the way up to full family cover. For some management roles this won’t apply, and a different healthcare provision may be part of your contracted benefits.
